FIRST OUTDOOOR COMPETITION
===========

Alright. Im back with the results.. I managed to jump 2.15m 7 ft 1/2 inch. I have to say im not really content with that mark.But Im happy because this is a good starting point for me due to the inconsistencies in training. But Im back to being confident now. I started the bar at a lower height than usual just to be able to get some repitions in. But next meet i’ll probably start at a higher height so i can save my legs for the higher jumps. But its ok I have found my rhythm back. So the only way to go is up now.. I have had about 7 competitions this year where i have jumped 2.15m and above, SO Im very happy with the consistency. Im just waiting to breakthrough….

I have two Big competitions i have to get ready for this month

Mt Sac Relays/Kansas Relays.. April 17th, 2010
Drake Relays… April 24th, 2010

I am definitely looking forward to jumping higher heights now….. So See you soon. Its baack to the drawing board now.. I’ll keep you all updated.

Indoor Season Summary & Beginning of Outdoor Season – Road bumps but looking ahead.

Friday, April 9th, 2010

Hello Guyz,
Sorry its been a while.. My indoor season was great. I was consistently jumping over 2.15m ( 7 feet ) in every meet. As sooon as i was ready to breakthrough Then i came across road bumps. I missed a month of training and cancelled all the rest of my competitions for the indoor season.
I became really sick with the FLU, I had oral surgery for all of my wisdom tooth, I had a busy work week, Then my coach got really sick. So thats how my indoor season ended. I did manage to end with a 2.16m jump 7″1 ft, Although I felt i was capable for at least a 2.21m jump but its ok. I always have this interruptions every year for some reason.

Looking Ahead…..
